That would be cool , most of our group did some trail riding on Sunday as i would imagine we would do again, the fire road going up the power line to where you guys met me coming out broken has a trail right beside it that we did on Sunday, then we watched the last half of the mud drags.

I have some pics of the side trail we did on sunday , i'll see if i can dig them up tomorrow. it has some pretty hard core spots but has bypasses.:D

Ya I remember after I typed that that you guys went to rockocalypse (*spl) We decided to take the road home. We did see a nice car show in Middleton that day though.

But the real trail run event is over by sunday

Trailcruser winching out the suburban on 40's out backwards when he tried to drive around me and got stuck, broke a hub and axle on the driver's side ,then tried to go around me on the other side and dropped the front d-shaft.
I am right after the yellow xj at about 7:27 and my spring came out at 7:38 . winching was right after.
worth watching the whole thing though to see what it was like.
when the yellow xj goes threw ,the MOR crew is watching ,all the guys and the girl in the orange with the orange boots ! heheh

So what's at Fox Mountain for a basically stock Jeep? I'm hoping to have it lifted by then, with some bigger sneakers, but I got no lockers, no winch and I don't want to have to be dragged through the mud, that's just a drag for everyone... Can someone tell me what the cosT is for the weekend?  Looks like it's my weekend off so I want to go.

They reccomend at least 33's for the run but last year we followed a bronco II on 32's and he did well on the first 2 trails. Rebel and I didnt get on the second 2 trails cause we went to town for food. So I cant say how it would work there.

Oh ya he run his ranger with 33 bfg A/T's and open diffs, was no problem

some pics and multiple video's in the pic section
http://maritimeoff-road.com/forum6/259.html
there's more ,just luuk under fox mountain there are a bunch of different ones.
Trailcruser on this forum did it stock with 32's in a landcruser.
there were a bunch of Jeeps that were stock on 31's and 32's but you will need skidplates .
This is last years poster, we went Friday night and was the same price for the extra night camping.
well worth the little $$ and some gas . Most stock rigs did fine but a lot had had trouble from stock to big assed trucks with 40's were broke . you just need to have someone spot for you and you will be fine stick to a group . some of the same trails will be the same and i here there will be some new. The international trail was a blast for those who made it that far!

For the cost of the registration $50?? plus an additional fee for extra people??? (can’t remember exactly) you’re able to join in on the trails, you get the camping, a couple of meals and entrance into the mud bog races.

The vehicles ranged from mild to wild. My Land Cruiser is just off stock and I had a lot of fun on 33’s, but dang those factory lockers are nice when the ground is twisted.  You can get a good picture of the worst sections of the trails by checking out the videos and photos
http://www.maritimeoff-road.com/forum6/page3.html you’ll see that there are vehicles with what looks like stock tires, no lift, and definitely open diffs front and rear.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjGEvlbSjwg&feature=related @ 2:15 was the most intimidating for me; I liked it, and a big thanks to the guy that was my spotter.

The trails have challenging sections (they make the best video) and no body minds offering a little pull here and there, that’s what it’s all about.

if your talkinf red plate as in offhighway plates it doesnt really matter i know the guy who puts this on really well and they just have to put registrion and insurance on there to cover there ass but my suggestion would be to cover your ass too haa

my runner is offhighway plated and insured it doesnt cost much and its worth it for sure :D

Well there are things that come first and that would be one of them !

There will be a few empty seats though i'm sure if you just went up for the day and rode shotgun with someone ...only $20.00 then for the extra person and a bit of gas to drive up.

If you camp it's $15.00 per night per person for tents,5.00 per person for the run

If your just doing the run then 5.00 per person which is paid inside to Backcountry 4x4 club when you regester your truck .

No food this year .... it's bring your own .
T-shirts available but don't know the cost (i will find out ) might be sticker's too .

Yes i am going to try to get a run going for those who don't make Fox Mountain rally , apparently we are not doing 1/2 moon this year so that will be one we do in fall . Trying to arrange it before hunting season unless it's on a Sunday but have no idea yet .

Yes half moon would be a blast, went in fall before. It's actually the nicest time of year to be in there as leaves are changing ,cool temps and wet in there...

I dunno , depends on how many beers we have friday night lol
Probably 9-9:30 depending on getting up and ready to roll. trail run starts a bit earlier but you will have to un load and stuff . i'll say 9ish , not really up to me but should be a group decision !

Best place for you to meet them would be go across the 40's road and meet at the Aylsford road. Last time i went it took me an hour and 5 mins driving 80-90 km from home to the campground entrance . I also stopped at the Aylsford road to stretch legs and check tires .
