Any ideas what would cause my heater in my 90 bronco to not switch to the floor vent?? It switches from defrost to vent fine but will not go to floor or floor/defrost mix .
Ilooked threw 13 pages of heater problems on FSB board but nothing related to my problem ,must have happened to someone as my 89 f150 is the same way.

Maybe the vacuum pod that turns the blend door is seized.

| No not yet , going to go out and tear the passenger side dash and glove box out in a little bit .I was talking to a ford mechanic and he said they have a rod inside the box that hooks onto the vacume pod and to the door , they break or come unhooked .
