yea I got a good price on the front panels but the best I've found so far on a box is $900 and (haven't seen them in person) but am told they're in pretty good shape. might just wind up havin to fix mine, gonna look next chance I get to price up panels for the box, but the cross members are gone and there's a few holes in the floors of the bed too, etc... so I dunno. the ol things in pretty good shape otherwise 4.3 with only 170k on it it's a shame to let it go

well hopefully its in good shape.i put all new front clip on mine too.i managed to find decent used doors, just had to weld in new door bottoms.was cheeper than new ones.thats how my box was on mine too.all the support rails under it were all rotten and were collapsing.you can get replacement ones but if the floor is no good then it might be better to find a better one.even box sides are kinda pricy.best i could get them for was about $250 a side thru my work.but i found a decent one that was solid, just had a few small spots to fix and had to change the tailgate.sounds like you got a pretty minty truck.thats low milage too.i was blessed with the 2.8L,however is swaped out for a v8 now.

the first pic looks like your doin a good job.defentally got your work cut out for yourself in the other pics.it doesnt look too bad to fix.thing ive noticed is that the size of the rust hole usually gets at least 3 times as big by the time your done cutting it all out.i like the challange of doin it.im pretty creative at making the odd pannels out of sheet steal, and just get in there and and keep goin at it.kinda loose track of time sometimes haha.had a few late nites because of it.

yeah ,i havn't got alot of time into it so it's going pretty well . My buddy was by and saw what i have done and he said holy ....it would take me a week to do that much . I guess i always seem to make it out to be worse. I like to sometimes make them from cardboard first and then cut and weld them together then put them in and weld them up.
I was hopeing to get it painted beforefox mountain but i don't think it's in the cards.
thought about 2 tone similar to what it was factory.
This one is blue and white but mine will be blue and grey
